What is a Color Palette?

The color palette is your organization’s set of saved brand colors for campaigns and communications. In Communicate, open sidebar Colors. Saved swatches show in color pickers as Saved colors; anyone editing content can still pick a Custom color. Full guide: Color Palette.

Roles: Owners, Admins, and Managers can add, edit, and delete in Colors. Editors can open Colors to view (not manage). Viewers don’t get Colors in the sidebar. See User Permissions and Roles.

Why Does Color Palette Matter for Church Communications?

Saved colors help you:

• Keep brand hue consistent across Calendar and Timeline
• Speed up create flows without re-entering hex
• Share one palette with the whole org

Without it, one-off custom picks drift and the grid looks inconsistent.

How Does Color Palette Work in Communicate?

Panel: Colors → swatches with hex → Add color (dashed circle) when you can create. Pick a color; it saves automatically.

Edit / remove: Click a swatch to change it (saves on blur). Hover → Remove color (no confirm). Existing campaigns keep their hex until you change them.

Pickers: Saved colors (up to 10, then Show All (N) / Show Less) and Custom color. Order follows the Colors panel.

When Should You Use Color Palette?

Save primary brand colors and a few seasonal hues you reuse. Prefer Saved colors over ad-hoc Custom color for campaigns your team will recognize on the Calendar.
