What's New — October 2026

First drafts in your church's voice, one click from the copy you're already writing

This release adds AI Copy Generation. Click ✨ Generate on a campaign or communication to get two drafts written from your campaign details and in your Church Voice. Pick one, edit it, and keep going. Nothing publishes without you.

In the app, What's new in Communicate opens once on your next visit, with October 2026 at the top.

AI Copy Generation — Plus

Generate now appears in three places:

  • Campaign page → Campaign Messaging — writes Long, Medium, and Short Copy at once
  • Communication → Copy — writes copy shaped for that channel (a text, an Instagram caption, a newsletter section)
  • Add Communication → Content — drafts copy before the communication is saved

Choose Length, Emojis, and Hashtags, add optional instructions, and compare Option A and Option B side by side. Not quite right? Type feedback like "Less cheesy" and Regenerate.

Owners, Admins, and Editors can generate.

Getting set up — Owners and Admins

Generate stays greyed out until an Owner or Admin finishes two steps in Admin Console → Church Profile → AI Features:

  1. Turn on AI Features and accept the AI terms.
  2. Create your Church Voice: a short Voice & Tone description, plus optional words to use or avoid and a writing example or two.

The Church Voice window opens automatically right after you turn AI on.
